The Outdoor Bowling Season started with Honiton President Joan Heard opening the green in the traditional way by bowling the first bowl, followed by the members taking part in an inter-club friendly match.
The first Mixed Friendly Triples match at home was against Phear Park with Honiton losing 56 – 65. Top Rink for Honiton: C Armitage, J Foxwell and T Dredge 22- 10.
In the Mixed Friendly match played at home against bowlers from Chardstock, Honiton won the match 73 - 56. Top rink: C Armitage, R Rogers, D Courtney and H Chambers 24 – 13.
Bowlers from Honiton travelled to Belmont to play a Mixed Triples match with Honiton losing 52 – 68. Top rink: C Armitage, A Hamilton, R Rogers 22 – 14.
Club Roll up matches are being held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Please arrive by 9.45am so we can start bowling at 10am. If you are not able to bowl in the mornings, the Friday evening roll up may be for you, please arrive by 5.45pm
