Axminster Bowls Club is back in business after being flooded out 18 months ago.
The all-weather carpet is back to its best, the Clubhouse has been extensively renovated and members are loving life back on the rinks.
Axminster BC started their fixture list with a friendly match at Lyme Regis BC and some great bowls before, halfway through, the weather was declared the winner.
The club is hosting a coffee morning on Thursday, May 18 in the Minster church room and then on the Saturday, Axminster BC is staging an Open Day from 10am – 3pm, with all ages and abilities invited. Equipment, refreshments, BBQ and convivial chat are provided.
Bowls is a fantastic sport, open to everyone, and great of get those competitive juices flowing, especially if you have moved on from a previous sport. It is also a fabulous sociable sport, so why not give it a try at Axminster Bowls Club?
