Kilmington are leading the way in the A Division of the Tolchards Devon Cricket League after a high-scoring victory over Budleigh Salterton.
A fine 125 from Elliott Rice helped Budleigh to an impressive total of 305/9, with Joel Seward (4/50) the lead bowler for Kilmington, who then scored a superb unbeaten 77 to help his side reach the total with four balls to spare.
In the B Division, Seaton have made a steady start to the season, despite going down to a four-wicket loss at Sandford 2nds on Saturday. Opener Damian Baxter struck 54, as Seaton set their hosts a target of 211/9 but Sandford recovered from 20/4 to reach the target in 43.2 overs.
Matt Broom (50), Ben Kidson (45) and James Mitcham (43) led Upottery to a fabulous 119-run win over Barnstaple & Pilton, with Mitcham (3/32) and Kalann Nessling (3/20) doing the main damage with the ball.
