Feniton bowlers recorded another victory in the County Trophy competition against Sidmouth, 93-60. The winning rinks were R Lovering, D Coyne, A Kury and R Cooke (26-11), P Eells, P Bright, M Sheen and B Cann (22-14), D Downs, J Skinner, A Murdoch and R Clarke (26-17) and D Sanders, G Phillips, A Smith and R Smith (19-18).
In the over 60s Triples League, the Eagles defeated Pinces Gardens B by 37-24. The winning rinks were R North, C Jacob and D Coyne (21-13) and R Lovering, D Downs and M Sheen (16-11).
In the Foxlands competition, the Men lost to Madeira by 30-40. The winning rink was P Bright, M Sheen, R Smith and B Cann (18-11).
The Ladies won their Triples League match against visiting Topsham by 38-32. The winning rink was Jan Holmes, J Hoffman and D Bowden (22-13).
The mixed team lost their away match in their East of Exe league match at Hemyock by 64-71. The only winning rink was P Eells, V Murdoch, A Murdoch and G Phillips (26-13). However, in a mixed friendly game against visitors, Bridport, they enjoyed a narrow and entertaining victory by 61-57.
