In the over 60s Triples League, the Eagles from Feniton Bowls Club defeated Morchard Bishop A by 48-24. The winning rink was R Lovering, D Coyne and M Sheen, with an incredible score of 37-2.
The Hawks lost at home to Exeter St Thomas A by 28-38. The winning rink was P Eells, A Murdoch and P Bright 17-13.
The Ladies won their Triples League match against local rivals Ottery St Mary Blue by 31-27. The winning rink was V Murdoch, Judy Smith and A Coyne 20-9. The mixed team entertained the Dorset Patrons and lost by 72-114. The only winning rink was J David, J Sherwood and A Kury 17-10.
Feniton Bowls Club is flourishing through the summer, with enthusiastic new members joining club stalwarts to create a fantastic atmosphere on club nights and in competitions. Congratulations to everyone involved in Feniton’s ongoing success.
