Honiton bowlers went to Tiverton Borough to play a Mixed Friendly match, winning 72 – 66. Top rink: N Moore, S Willcox, A Williams, 21 – 11.
In a return match, members of Hemyock Bowling Club came to Honiton to play in the East of Exe League and the final score was a captivating draw, 63 – 63, so both clubs gained six points.
Bowlers from Madeira also visited Honiton to play a Mixed Friendly match. In a close match, Madeira just pipped Honiton, winning 66 – 63. Top rink for Honiton: I Dennison, R Rogers and T Lambert, 23 – 9.
