Lyme Regis Golf Club Ladies played the July Medal last Thursday and the competition also included the Silver Division Ladies Challenge Scratch Cup and the Bronze Scratch Trophy.
The historic Silver Scratch competition was first contested in 1901 and the current trophy was donated by Mrs Audrey Jackson in 1936.
Ladies Club Champion Marie Long played some terrific golf to win on a gross score of 86, with Jane Dixon taking second place. The Bronze Scratch winner was Susan Moore with Julie Duke finishing just two shots behind. The July Medal was won by Celia Beadle with a nett 73.
The golf course was presented in excellent condition with tricky pin positions and blustery winds resulting in a challenging but enjoyable morning of golf for the 29 ladies taking part.
The club has also hosted the traditional Past Captains Dinner and Tournament, which was won by Arthur Daines and Steve Hames.
