Feniton Bowls Club President Les Ley and his helpers raised £322 for the FORCE Charity in an afternoon of ‘fun’ bowls.
The mixed triples team of P Eells, D Bowden and P Bright won in the Devon Mixed Triples Competition with a win by 18-9 in the section 3 final.
The only team success of a week was for the Hawks in the over 60s Triples League, who defeated Sidmouth in a match curtailed by rain, 25-19. The winning rink was D Sanders G Phillips and R Smith 19-3.
In the Men’s County Trophy competition there were defeats away to Ottery St Mary by 51-96 and at home to Honiton by 73-91. In the Ladies Triples League, there was defeat at home to Shaldon by 28-42.
Feniton also lost in the Mixed East of Exe League at home to Hemyock by 58-71. The only winning rink was D Downs, J Hoffman, John Holmes and D Phillips, 28-11.
