The second round of the Lyme Regis Club Championship was completed after a delay due to bad weather on our original date, writes Gail Daines.
On behalf of all our members we would like to congratulate all those who entered the Ladies, Seniors and Club Championship and extend a heartfelt well done to all our winners on their outstanding achievements. A particular mention must go to Gerry Whiteley, who won both the gross and nett sections of the Seniors Club Championship.
The course was in great condition for the final round of the Club Championship and was prepared to the highest standard by Jamie Hughes our Course Manager and the excellent greenkeeping staff.
Zac Mudford was the men’s gross champion and Dave Jones won the nett title, while Marie Long (gross) and Diane Harris took the ladies’ prizes. Gerry Whiteley was dominant in the seniors.
