Lyme Regis Golf Club Ladies played their latest competition, a Medal, with the Parham Cup also at stake, where the winners of last year’s summer Medals competed alongside ladies in the September Medal.
The winner of the Parham Cup as well as the Silver division Medal was Jane Dixon with an impressive nett score of 70, followed by Hanna Jacobsen. The Silver Division monthly medal winner was Susan Moore on countback from Susan Crossley.
On Thursday, Lyme Regis Ladies played a nine-hole fun competition in which 27 ladies took part. The competition was a three-person Texas Scramble and each of the nine teams included a high, middle and low handicap golfer.
Only one point separated first placed Amanda Cleary, Val Waites and Maggie Brook on 43 points from the second placed team of Corrine Jones, Jean Moss and Anita Brown. The format and fine weather was enjoyed very much by all of the competitors.
