The Honiton Challenge at Honiton Golf Club is where all four sections of the club take each other on in a Stableford format.
Men’s Captain, Paul Willey’s team came out the winners with 199 points, followed by the Seniors with 194, Juniors with 190 and the Wooden spoon went to the ladies with 176.
Top scoring for each of their teams were Nick Jones (Men) 37, Joshua Lane (Juniors) with a top score of the day of 38, Allan Pollock (Seniors) on 34 pts and Heidi Watson Jones (Ladies) with 33. The Seniors also won the Otter Trophy, beating the ladies by 11 points.
At Lyme Regis Golf Club, the Ladies’ Medal was dressed in pink to raise over £100 for the Charity Breast Cancer Now. Division One winner was Di Harris with a nett score of 72, followed by Hanna Jacobsen and Amanda Cleary. Judith Ellard, in Division Two, hit a superb nett 60.
