An inclusive LGBTQ+ football club is searching for shirt sponsors for the 2024/25 season.

Honiton Nomads, a recently formed adult football team, is offering a unique corporate sponsorship opportunity.

The team, open to anyone over the age of 18 regardless of ability, background, gender or sexual orientation, is promoting physical activity, teamwork, and respect within a welcoming environment.

The team is working hard in to expand its media presence and league outreach in its inaugural season.

Its founder, Benjamin Slater, a military veteran and entrepreneur, and now a postal worker in Honiton following an international career in development and humanitarian work, aims to make football inclusive within the town and beyond.

The 2024/2025 season, which begins in late January, will be part of an inclusive league in the South West of England, set up to encourage diversity in sport.

The sponsorship funds are intended to facilitate the purchase of the initial black-coloured home kit, training equipment, venues for training and games, and covering travel costs.

Sponsorship opportunities range from £200 to £650, depending on the placement of the corporate logo on the team shirts.

To support the club's initiative and help promote sport within the community in an inclusive environment, interested sponsors are asked to get in touch with Mr Slater via email at honiton.nomads.fc@gmail.com or by calling 07512998060.
