A new elite football education programme is being developed at Trinity School, Teignmouth, under the guidance of former Plymouth Argyle, Torquay United, Southampton and Brentford star Ryan Dickson. Working alongside Dickson is Head of Girls Football Abbie Britton from Exeter City Women.
The Elite Football Programme at Trinity is designed to combine individual player development with Academic excellence, providing a platform for talented and enthusiastic footballers to improve their game alongside achieving their educational goals.
At the heart of the Elite Football Programme is its commitment to individual player development. Beyond group training sessions, the programme includes personalised training sessions tailored to each player’s unique strengths and weaknesses. This approach covers aspects like physical conditioning, mental fortitude, and technical and tactical skills.
One of the distinctive features of this programme is its integration of top-notch education with highest standard of football development. Schools under the Alpha Schools Group umbrella place high values on academics, ensuring that students excel both on and off the field.
In an age where a well-rounded education is vital, this dual approach equips students with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in any career they choose.
Trinity School is hosting an Open Day on Saturday, February 24.
