The annual captain versus vice-captain match was contested on Sunday at Honiton, writes John Pawley.
As always the meeting proved to be one that was highly contested! Both captain and vice obviously got the best out of their teams as the final result was a draw!
The halved match means that the trophy remains with last year’s winner – Julian Phillips.
He, with playing partner Stewart Slater, beat the team of vice captain Julian Netherway and Richard Beard to get the draw.
