Two AVRs competed in the Bristol half-marathon, writes Dave Mutter.
Carol Austin was first AVR back in 1:36:37.
That time saw her into second place in the Over-50s women’s category and this was just a few seconds short of her personal best despite windy conditions.
She was followed soon after by Emma Kiernan in achieving a PB of 1:37:01.
