Last Wednesday night Luke Reed took part in an Aquathlon at Bowleaze Cove in Weymouth, writes Dave Mutter.
The race organised by Bustinskin Events consisted of a 1000m sea swim followed by a 5k run.
Reed had a solid swim apart from taking a slight detour at the first buoy; he completed the swim in 22.03 then had a good run with a time of 19.03 giving him an overall time of 41.07 finishing fourth overall.
Then, on Sunday, Reed completed the Nello Force charity Bike ride - his first 100 miler which he completed in six hours.
This was a very well organised event with plenty of food and support around the route and a good day was had by all.
