Axe Valley Runners (AVR) are in urgent need of a qualified running coach, writes Dave Mutter.
The club currently has a talented, and growing, groups of young runners, but in order that they can continue to work together a qualified running coach must be found – and quickly!
The appointed coach will lead weekly 75-minute sessions from 6.30pm to 7.45pm each Monday evening during school term time only with the evening beginning at Seaton Scout Hut.
This is a paid position and applicants must have EA (England Athletics) accreditation and be DBS checked by the club. The club is also seeking more running helpers to support the lead coach. Without sufficient helpers we can’t continue.
