AVR pair contest the Taunton Deane Aquathlon

AVR had two of their number involved in ‘The Taunton Deane Aquathlon’ which had, as its base, Wellington Sports Centre, writes Dave Mutter.

The long-distance race was a 1km pool swim which involved 40 lengths of the Wellington pool, followed by a 10km run.

Antony Chadwick performed well with a swim/transition time of 21:59 and run 43:20 giving him a total of 1:05:19.

Jon Day’s swim/transition time was 26:59 and run time 42:56, which game him an overall 1:09:55.
