AVR runner Robin Britton ran the Wellington Monument Race, writes Dave Mutter.

Britton advised that was pretty cold with a fresh breeze, but the short sharp shower just before the start let up just in time and there was sunshine for the race.

Phil Burden of Taunton AC won comfortably in 34:13 with Britton finishing 60th out of the 199 finishers in 46:03, claiming the first V60 prize.

Free mince pie and mulled wine at the finish make this a race which is worth going to!
