AVRs Adams runs the Cannon Hill 5k in the Midlands

Following their exploits the previous weekend tackling the 2013 Grizzly, the majority of the AVR runners opted for a period of rest, writes Dave Mutter.

There was one notable exception in the shape of Lesley Adams.

Competing in the Cannon Hill (Birmingham) 5K Parkrun, Adams finished 204th out of a field of 305.

Adams crossed the tape in a time of 28:47.
