After the plethora of runners racing last weekend Carol Austin was the lone AVR to complete last weekend, writes Dave Mutter.
She travelled to Birmingham to take part in the Cannon Hill 5K Parkrun which she completed in a time of 21:25.
She was third in her age grade on the day (79 per cent) and fifth woman.
She was also first W50 out of 472 runners.
This was a splendid performance.
