AVRs Newton continues rich vein of form with superb run in Cornish marathon

On Sunday three AVRs ran the Cornish marathon, a very hilly road run, but with good running weather, writes Dave Mutter.

Graham Newton’s rich vein of form continued as he was first AVR home with a new PB of 3.25.15.

He was 43rd overall and first male over 60.

Geoff Woodward and Steve Reynolds battled it out with the former coming in at 4.03.39, 144th overall.

Reynolds finished 147th in a time of 4.04.06 147th.
