Despite the somewhat draughty conditions for the Torbay Half Marathon Graham Newton stormed around in a new PB of 1:35:17, writes Dave Mutter.
He was 187th overall out of 1538 and second Over-60 – brilliant running.
Gavin Warren was 886th, 1:59:39, Gill Day 1279th 2:15:29; this a new PB by seven seconds and Janet Woodward 1280th in 2:15:31.
Ethan Day has been out of running for six weeks with a broken collar bone so he ran very well to be third overall and secodn boy in the one-mile fun run.
