Axe Cliff Grainer Prior competition success for Stuart Mackie

Axe Cliff men’s section contested the Grainer Prior competition, played under medal format, writes Pete Motson.

It proved to be a very closely-fought match, but the winner was Stuart Mackie with a nett 68 round.

In second place, over the back nine, was Alex Gabb with a nett 69 and third was Bradley Pryce with a nett 69.

There were three twos recorded by Paul Clode, Simon Vincent and Simon Sweetland.
