The Axe Cliff ladies section played their third County prize stableford competition, writes Pete Motson.
The weather was not great, especially on the back nine when a very eerie black swirl of mist, cloud and rain appeared from nowhere!
The scores however, were good, with 33 points the score from winner Jo Donmall.
Just a point behind, second with 32 was Helen Kenworthy and Stella Thompson took third place with 31.
