Archant

The Axe Cliff ladies were blessed with a lovely autumn day for their last medal of the year, writes Dave Bruce.

The ladies made the most of the conditions, returning some very reasonable scores.

Captain Caroline Bond excelled with a nett 75. She was closely followed by Margaret Kenchington, looking great in pink, with a solid 77 on countback from vice captain Jill Wellington, also on 77.

Barbara Cummings also played well to take fourth place with her nett 78.

Now we all look forward to the onset of winter!
