The ladies of Axe Cliff played another League Match at home against Bovey Tracey on Tuesday, writes Janet Dack.
Contested in glorious summer sunshine, Axe Cliff won then match three-and-a-half to two-and-a-half, but lost on the away score by half a point!
The winning ladies for Axe Cliff were Helen Kenworthy, Glenda Board and Alison Cook.
Reserve player Lesley Crawford won her match. Well done to all.
The Par Cup was competed for last Wednesday and the winner was Glenda Board with a minus one score.
Lady captain Sandra Walker took second place with a score of minus two.
