Axe Cliff’s Kenworthy in top ten finish at English Grand Medal finals

Axe Cliff’s Helen Kenworthy came tenth in the English Grand Medal final held on the Northamptonshire course last week-end, writes Janet Dack.

Heartiest congratulations to her from all at the club.

It’s congratulations also to Sallie Seward who was the winner of last weeks EG Medal competition with a nett 70 reducing her handicap from 35 to 33.

On Monday the ladies enjoyed a friendly match with Windwhistle at Axe Cliff.

The home team won two and a half to one and a half.

Winning pairings were Helen Gaudie and Janet Dack, Lesley Crawford and Glenda Board with Sandra Walker and Sallie Seward gaining the half point.

Last Wednesday the winner of the Par competition was Helen Gaudie with Janet Dack in second place.
