There was a fantastic turnout of 48 seniors last Friday, and what a wonderful warm and calm day It proved to be, for all to contest the monthly medal, writes Dave Bruce.

Chris Walker dished up the best overall scored with a fine nett 70 closely followed by Adrian Bishop with a nett 72.

Third spot, took some working out with three players on nett 73, but ,with the aid of a calculator, Mick Tomes, our secretary, was declared best countback from Mick Swann and John Mant respectively. Just the two twos were recorded one by David Lacey and the other by Nick Stanton.

It seems another good attendance can be expected next week at the start of our ‘Masters’, to be decided over four medal rounds.
