The Axe Cliff seniors met for a festive match, writes Pete Motson.
Division One comprised of players with handicaps from one to 20.
The winner was 19 handicapper M Tomes who returned a score of 29 points. It was a close contest for the runners-up spot with N Povey, playing off 17, edging out R Grove (17 handicap), after both players scored 28 points.
In Division Two, for players with handicaps from 21 to 28, the winner was 21 handicapper L Morgan, with 27 points.
D Lacey (22 handicap) was second with 25 points and 25 handicapper M Jamieson, was third with 24.
