Axe Cliff Terrace Cup win for threesome

The Axe Cliff men played for the Terrace Cup.
Condition’s were not good on the day so there was a small field for the competition which was won by the threesome of Alex Todd, Johnny Potter and Simon Matthews.
Just a single two was registered, that by Chris Glover.
The ladies’ contested an EG Medal five with the third round of the Axe Cliff Cup.
In a close contest Jo Donmall secured first place with Jill Wellington edging out Margaret Kenchington after the scores over the back nine were taken into consideration.

The Presidents Prize is a competition for the whole club and, in the men’s section it was Anthony Hellier who emerged victorious with second place going to Alan Cooper (on the back nine), with 35 points. Third was Johnny Cooper (34).
In the ladies section Jo Donmall took first place and Helen Kenworthy was the runner-up.
