The Axe Vale Pony Club sent two teams to compete in a team competition at Pontispool Taunton over the weekend, writes Karen Bostock.
It was a case of ‘first time out’ for the mini team comprising of Megan Fowler, Freya White and Juliette Bostock and they did really well, overcome some understandable nerves to finish sixth in their class.
The Axe Vale Flyers re-united following the success of the previous week with Juliette Bostock achieving individual first in class two. The team came second against some stiff competition in the 2ft 3inches class and Juliette Bostock also landed an individual second placing.
District commissioner Rhian Carruthers said: “Once again I am so proud of all the children for giving it a go, that’s what is all about, coming home with fantastic results as they did is amazing.
“We are always looking for new members to join our ever growing and successful friendly branch so if you would like more information or to see what fun things we have planned this summer just email us at axevalepc@gmail.com, we would be happy to help”.
