Four members of Axe Valley Pedallers met with the Associated British Ports Pedal the Ports team from Teignmouth docks en-route to Litton Cheney (near Bridport.)
Four members of Axe Valley Pedallers met with the Associated British Ports 'Pedal the Ports' team from Teignmouth docks en-route to Litton Cheney (near Bridport.)Employees of Associated British Ports are raising money for research into Motor Neuron Disease. The ABP employees' challenge is to find teams at each of the ABP ports to ride a tandem onto the next port. More details at www.abports.co.uk/pedaltheports Donations can be made via www.justgiving.com/abppedaltheportsAVP met with the ABP team at Hangman's Stone on the A3052 and guided them along the bye-ways to Raymond's Hill, then via the cycle route through the West Dorset villages/towns of Wootton Fitzpaine, Whitchurch Canonicorum and Bridport and onto Litton Cheney, pedalling to Southampton Docks on Thursday.Picture above shows the Wednesday lunch stop at Coronation Corner, nr Axmouth.
