The fast and furious at Axe Valley Pedallers were the 10-mile evening time trials, which saw Clive Heard with 28:40, Bill Marshall 31:43 and Colin Bennett 30:04 all improve their times over the previous week.
Clive Heard led the Friday evening MTB group over a variety of flinty, muddy, and seriously steep local routes with Colin, Gaz and Neil.
Glen Morley organised a 100k ride along with Gary, Bobble, Andy and Jonathan in order to help prepare for the demanding Dartmoor Classic at the weekend, starting their ride in Seaton and doing a tour of the Blackdowns as far as Wellington.
Meanwhile, our slower but steady riders continued to enjoy the good weather, the fabulous scenery and, of course, the good company. There were so many on the starting grid on Friday that we had to split up into three groups, arriving at two separate venues for our usual coffee and cake!
