A quintet of Axe Valley Runners took part in the latest City Run, as Jason Potter, Terry Emmett, Matt Orsman, Adrian Strawbridge and Joel Seward all battled through the 5km event along Exeter Quay.
Joel Seward was the first AVR home, 16th overall in a superb new personal best of 17:15. Terry Emmett was just behind Joel in 18th spot with a very fast time of 17:17.
Matt Orsman was 30th, 17:52 and in his debut race Adrian Strawbridge finished 65th place with a very impressive 20:20. Jason Potter was 67th with a time of 20:26.
It was another positive showing from AVR and fantastic to see the City Runs thriving again, with some summer events to watch out for including the Exeter 10km race on July 14 and 15, plus the start of the summer 5km series from June 22.
