The Axe Valley Runners (AVR) are in urgent need of finding a qualified running coach, writes Dave Mutter.

The club’s thriving junior section has some very talented young runners in their ranks and they need a coach.

The coach will lead weekly 75-minute sessions from 6.30pm to 7.45pm each Monday evening with the sessions, held in school term time only, starting from Seaton Scout Hut.

This is a paid position and applicants do need to have EA (England Athletics) accreditation and be DBS checked by the club.

The club is also seeking more running helpers to support the lead coach. Without sufficient helpers we can’t continue.

You must be able to commit to term time Monday’s on a regular basis and agree to a DBS check.
