Axminster CC put some magic into their Awards Evening on Octber 11

Axminster CC are set to celebrate a wonderful 2013 season with their Awards Evening next week.
The Axemen, who won promotion at both 1st and 2nd XI level in the Francis Clark Devon League, will stage their awards at Cloakham Lawns on Friday October 11.
The doors open at 6.30pm and the evening includes a buffet and a show of magic from local magician Jack Ward.
Tickets for the evening cost just £5 and will be available on the door on the night.
Axminster skipper Tristan Wakeley says: “We have, in the recent past, had the sit-down two course meal, but this year felt that, with everybody conscious of costs that it would far more prudent – and pocket friendly – to stage the evening at our club with a buffet and entertainment. It’s been a great season for all concerned and hopefully we’ll get a good turn out to ensure that we celebrate a magnificent campaign in fitting style!”
