Kilmington 2nds were 21-run winners when they entertained Axminster II.
Batting first the home side closed on 216-9.
Graham Watts top scored with 76 and there were knocks of 24 from both Martin Huscroft and Giles Dixon. Bradley Conway claimed four wickets for 54 runs from a full shift of nine overs and Dylan Hurst took 2-21 from eight overs.
It was Dylan Hurst who then took the honours in the Axminster reply as he carried his bat throughout the 44.4 overs to finish with an unbeaten 86. Karl Hurst chipped in with 36 and there were 37 extras as Axminster’s reply came to an end in the final over for 195.
Maurice Beviss (2-21), Sam Olive (2-32) and Giles Dixon (2-35), were the principle Kilmington wicket takers.
