AXMINSTER Community Primary School pupils are climbing high, thanks to a new climbing wall in the playground. The Key Stage Two children can enjoy the wall due to the work of the school's PTFA, a contribution from Councillor Douglas Hull via the County Council's locality funds and donations from a number of other organisations.Former District Youth Officer Peter Lacey, who designed and oversaw the building of the former climbing wall at the Axminster Sports Centre, supervised the design of the school one and helped to assemble it.The school said it was extremely grateful to Peter and to everyone in the community who helped make the project possible.
