Round two of the Lyme Regis Winter League was a gritty affair as the wind played havoc with proceedings, writes Richard Jackman.
However, Peter Beviss overcame the conditions best to card a steady 36 points.
Chris Brice and Mark Colley were close behind, both on 35 points with Brice ultimately taking silver position.
The ladies’ stableford was another weather affected affair, but Rosie Jackman carded the best score of the day, 35 points to win Division One from Jean Jolley, 31, and Gilly Madill, 30.
Division Two again saw Kim Beauchamp on the podium, as she won with 34 points, from Linda Richmand, 32, and Sheila Claringbold, 29. The club also held its presentation evening on Friday, but more details on that in next weeks Midweek Herald.
