Blundell lands Honiton ladies’ handicap Cup success

Good weather once again brought in some excellent scores for the Honiton ladies playing for the Handicap Cup, writes Andy Wagner.

Winner this year was Linda Blundell with a net 69, with runner-up Su Calver scoring a net 71 (after count back).

In the medal competition, silver division was won by Su Calver on net 71 and Heather Clarke took second on net 73, again with count back.

First place in the bronze division one went to Linda Blundell with net 69, followed in second place by Catherine Doherty with net 71, while Chris Luttman was third on count back from Jan Dickinson in fourth, both with net 73.

Rosemary Whitely took first place in bronze division two with net 72, ahead of Lesley Farley with net 74.

The 9-hole stableford was won by Julie Eyles with 19 points.
