Bright start for young footballers

Feniton Tigers U8s kicked off their 2011/2012 season with two away wins at Moors Rhinos, Tiverton, writes Tom Hatton.

They won the first outing, 1-0, against the Rhinos, but it was a hard- fought match with plenty of promising passages of play. Feniton seemed to have the upper hand, their solid defence, skills up front and confident approach paying off.

Great passages of passing and running down the flanks in the second match against Tiverton Town helped Feniton control most of the game and, eventually, bag a 4-2 result in their favour.

This Saturday will see Feniton U8s entertain Stoke Hill and Bradninch at Acland Park, 10.15am KO, so please go along and support. Refreshments will be available in the club house.
