Dunkeswell-based cricketer Josh Cann made an impressive debut for A Division Sandford on Saturday.
The 17-year-old was in action for his new club at Tavistock where he went to the wicket with the score on 130-2. He went on to strike five fours on his way to a knock of 34.
Young Cann, signed by the Creedy Park outfit to keep wicket and bat, then took the gloves and sealed a promising debut with a catch behind the stumps as his new club won by 54 runs.
