Colyton Grammar School student, and number 1 seed Emma Hurst (Seaton TC) won the U16s Regional Tour this weekend in Cardiff.

She had a convincing win over Ella Monsey (Suffolk) 6-3, 6-0 in the semi-finals, and then won the final in straight sets 6-0, 6-4 against County team mate Sian Payne (Exeter TC).

Fellow Colyton Grammar School student Isabella Brown also won the Consolation Final beating Swansea player Chloe Alpine 6-2, 6-1.

Both girls are coached by Derek Blackmore at Seaton Tennis Club and Exmouth and hope to take Colyton Grammar School to the National Finals again this July.
