In terms of the football in the area on Saturday, with Honiton Town away at Appledore, top billing goes to the Axminster Town versus Bovey Tracey South West Peninsula League, Eastern Division game at Tiger Way (3pm). There’s also Eastern Division action at Sidmouth Town where table-topping Newton Abbot Spurs are the visitors and also at Greenway Lane, Budleigh where the Robins entertain Torridgeside.
In the Macron Devon and Exeter League there’s an East Devon derby at Feniton, where Upottery are the visitors (2.15pm) and Beer Albion entertain Clyst Valley (2.15pm). Completing a trio of Macron League top-flight games, Seaton Town stage a ‘must win’ game against Topsham Town (2.15pm).
In Division Two, Honiton Town Reserves take on high-flying Woodbury while, in Division Three, Otterton and Tipton St John are at home to Sandford and Countess Wear Dynamos respectively.
In Division Five, Lyme Regis entertain Exwick Village, Millwey Rise host Awliscombe and Offwell Rangers are at home to Hemyock.
Upottery Reserves entertain Bampton at Glebe Park in a Division Six meeting and Colyton Reserves are at home to Exeter United in Division Seven.
There’s Division Eight action for Honiton Town thirds against Millwey Rise Reserves.
