There was no action last week for the Lyme Regis ladies so the focus is all on the men, writes Paul Moffitt.
Lyme men came away with seven points from their encounter with Dorchester A, unlucky not to be eight, but Dorchester conjured up four shots against Don Meylan’s team on the last end to force a draw.
The men’s A team came unstuck against Bridport A securing only two points thanks to a win on Alan Preece’s rink.
The B team were unfortunate in their game against Sherborne A having to lose a quarter of their points on Richard Cridge’s rink because they were forced to play with just three players!
Although the ladies were not in action in the league they did entertain six invited teams to partake in the annual Lady Captain’s Day.
