Sidmouth Town 0, Seaton Town 7 Less than twenty four hours after suffering a demoralising league defeat at Topsham Town, Seaton served up a clinical exhibition of finishing to nail a place in the last four of the Morrison Bell Cup.
Dan Norman was the star of the show with a hat-trick.
Cameron Vere, Matt Hancock and Alex Wheatley were also on the score sheet.
Boss Josh Stunell said: “It was a powerful show and, whilst Sidmouth clearly were not at their strongest we did win at a canter. In recent years we have not been much of a cup team, so perhaps the tide is turning in that respect. We retain an interest in a number of cups and some silverware on the sideboard at the Dinner and Dance would be some sort of reward for the collective effort this season.”
