Four Exmouth RFC players were in the Devon Under-20s side that were 21-7 winners over Gloucestershire in a friendly at North Tawton on Sunday.

The four - Joe Harris, Ethan Justice, Morgan White and Sam Fulthorpe - all played in the game that saw Devon score all their points in the first half of a contest that was played out in testing conditions.

The pack impressed, while Ivybridge fly-half Mitch Pinkus orchestrated play well behind.

Nine minutes in, Devon took a 7-0 lead with a try from Tamar Saracens centre Lewis Swatton and a conversion from Pinkus.

On 22 minutes the lead was doubled with another converted try, Ivybridge prop Marcus Prout touching down and Pinkus slotting the conversion.

Six minutes later the first-half scoring was completed when Torquay number eight Josh Mackin showed good pace and strength to dive over in the right corner and Pinkus made it three from three in terms of his conversion efforts.

After the break, Devon defended with discipline and restricted the visitors to a single converted try.

Next up for young Green and Whites will be annual the Tamar Cup clash with Cornwall at Brickfields next Sunday (January 28).
