Colyton have opened up a five point lead at the top of Fresha League Division Two after a 5-0 win at Newton Poppleford.

The Tanners were good value for the victory, their ninth in their last ten league outings.

Callum Somers and Erich Busby both scored twice and the other goal came from James Salter.

Colyton have now scored five in both their last two league outings and they have scored fourteen goals in a run of four straight wins. It’s 47 goals in all competitions this term so far

On Saturday Colyton entertain Crediton United Reserves who they beat 4-1 in Mid Devon on the opening day of the season.
