Eighty-four seniors contested the Longhurst Cup which is played in teams of three with only one score to count.
The team of Keith Crane, Norrie Fleet and Tom Tunnicliffe won with 47 stableford points - mainly due to Tunnicliffe’s excellent performance.
His name is on the trophy from last year too!
The runners-ups were Vic Wood, Bill Phillips and Ashley Murray scored 45 points and third spot went to Max Pipe, Jack Phillips and John Foster on 44, separated on count back from Dave Maggs, Peter Blake and David Coombs. All the prizes were bottles of wine, and the event raised £100 for the Save the Children charity.
